The Waterford Road Tenders program began in the Spring of 2003, as an extension of Green Up Day.  It started with a handful of residents signing up to pick up roadside litter on a few well-traveled roads in town and has grown over the years to include more than 80% of our town’s roads.  Residents sign an agreement to pick up the roadsides assigned to them at least twice a year between April 1st and November 30th. The town provides special trash bags that can be brought to the transfer station free-of-charge when full.  If you are interested in helping keep our roadsides clean and beautiful, please contact the town clerk’s office at 748-2122 for additional information.
